The IRP and IFTA Industry Advisory Committees provide a forum for industry representatives to compare notes on issues and, because the meeting is open, for state and provincial representatives to find out what s on industry s mind. Fletcher Yellow: Meet at front drive at fountain area off of meeting level, then move to John Jackson Attendees will break out into groups, with each group taking turns participating in both breakout discussions and an outside demonstration. Breakout discussions will be on the following topics: Weight Variances: How are they enforced? Place of Residence Collection Efforts: What are the best practices? How does your jurisdiction collect? The outdoor demonstration will show the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) commercial vehicle and driver inspection as conducted roadside within Canada, Mexico and the US. A live fuel sample will also be taken utilizing the PetroSpec, which is used by some jurisdictions to determine the presence of dyed fuel at roadside. Groups will take turns both at the demonstration and at the breakout discussions. Suggestions are provided on making a Dave Bales (KS) and William plan of how to react to an active shooter, how to respond to protect Haynes (NH) yourself and others, and how to confront an active shooter.
