Walking/Running Track Our wheelchair accessible, rubber composite indoor walking/running track overlooks our double gymnasium. Seniors 60+ can use the track at no charge daily from 8:00am-4:00pm. This class is suitable for beginners who enjoy dancing and learning new dance routines to Latin music , Apr.5-Jun.7 10:30-11:30 am $80.00/10 sessions Yoga 4 YOURbody Registered - a gentle stretch and release class to increase joint flexibility while decreasing stress and stiffness. Class will include postures and movements for the neck, shoulders, lower back and hips. Through breathing techniques we will work on balance, strength, endurance and flexibility. 2 Pickleball Drop-in - pickleball is a combination of ping-pong, tennis and badminton and has been enjoyed for over 20 years by people of all ages. Forever Stretch Drop-in - this class is designed for those new to yoga with a focus on improvements in flexibility, posture and reduction in stress. Monday (Light to Moderate) 9:00-10:00am $3.60/drop-in (seniors 60+ rate). Forever Fit Drop-in - this light to moderate exercise class will help to improve your posture, movement, efficiency and overall muscular performance related to daily activities. Wednesday (Moderate) 9:00-10:00am (Light to Moderate) 9:00-10:00am $3.60/drop-in (seniors 60+ rate) Joint Works Drop-in - developed by the Arthritis Society, this light class is ideal for those wanting to help mobilize, strengthen and increase their overall fitness. Chairs are available. (Light) 10:00-11:00am $3.60/drop-in (seniors 60+ rate) Tai Chi Drop-in Tai Chi uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind. Sessions are led by a volunteer. 9:30-11:30am 10:30-12:30pm Kyle Walkers Drop-in - rain or shine, join us for walks in parks and other scenic Lower Mainland locations. Pick up a schedule at Kyle Centre. Carpooling is arranged on site. Hatha Chair Yoga and Stretch 9:45-1:00pm Free sessions This program will include gentle postures and movement, utilizing a chair, helping to increase breath capacity, balance and flexibility. There will be modifications offered with each posture , Apr.5-Jun.7 11:15-12:15pm $73.50/10 sessions Ballroom Dance Drop-in - each week a variety of sessions are offered and led by a group of volunteers. Enjoy good company and different dance styles such as tango, waltz, salsa, quick step and fox trot. Singles and couples welcome. We also offer registered Ballroom Dance lessons at Kyle Centre on Wednesday. 4 New York Mah Jong Snooker Drop-in - for ages 60+. has three snooker tables with cue sticks, balls, cue rests, chalk and posted rules of the game. The tables can also be used for billiards and pool. The Snooker Club is organized through volunteers. Monday- 8:30-4:30pm Free with membership or $1.00/drop-in The Snooker Club requires a $25.00 membership in addition to the membership, payable to the Snooker Club. Port Moody Rock and Gem Club Drop-in - Port Moody Rock and Gem Club provides facilities and events for those interested in the lapidary arts and earth sciences. Lapidary is the art of cutting and polishing semi-precious and precious rocks and gemstones. Our lapidary workshop at provides members with the tools needed to work stone for both jewellery and display. Rock and Gem Club and activities are organized through a club executive and volunteers. Monday & 9:00-12:00pm 6:30-9:30pm 7:00-10:00pm $25.00/Annual Rock and Gem Membership, payable to Rock and Gem Club Port Moody Garden Club Drop-in - gather with fellow gardeners to discuss gardening projects and ideas. Monthly sessions are organized and facilitated by volunteers. 2nd & last Monday of each month 10:30-12:30pm Free with membership or $0.50/drop-in Drop-in - a game of Chinese origin usually played by four persons with tiles marked in suits. The object is to build a winning combination of tiles. Beginners are welcome Monday 1:00-3:00pm Free with membership or $0.50/drop-in Smocking Drop-in - the age old technique of surface embroidery on pleated fabrics. Work on personal projects as well as charitable projects for the Eagle Ridge Hospital Auxiliary. New members are welcome. 2nd & 4th of the month 11:00-2:00pm Free with membership (nominal fee for some project work) Bridge Drop-in - one of the world s most popular card games. It is played by four players in two competing partnerships. No guaranteed play for those who arrive late. Come to lunch before Bridge! Bingo 12:15-3:30pm Drop-in - enjoy an afternoon of Bingo among friends and meet new people in this popular activity. (alternating) Free with membership (Nominal fee to purchase bingo cards) Come to lunch before Bingo! Table Tennis 1:00-3:30pm Drop-in - table tennis, also known as ping-pong, is similar to the game of tennis played indoor with a small ball and paddle with two to four players. The City of Port Moody and CISS has teamed up to create an opportunity to support employment development, community partnerships and relationship building. The Club Located in the Alex Graham building, 101 Noons Creek Drive (on Noons Creek, across from the IGA parking lot). A gathering place for those over 50. As well as a monthly social there are daily activities such as cribbage, chess, knitting club and a ukulele group. All activities are free. Special evening events include Cooking demonstrations and dinners with Fred Soofi (Pasta Polo) as well as Meet your Mayor. Throughout the day there is lively conversation and the making of new friends. Equipped with a full kitchen The Club offers delicious affordable breakfast and lunch. Open daily from 9:00am-4:00pm
