2 Mission & Areas Served Statements Mission Statement Mercy Multiplied is a nonprofit Christian organization that helps young women break free from life-controlling behaviors and situations, including eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, unplanned pregnancy, depression, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking. We hope to help every woman we serve experience God's unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Background Statement In 1983, Mercy Multiplied was founded in Monroe, Louisiana. Mercy's voluntary, faith-based residential program was designed to meet the needs of women between the ages of throughout the United States struggling with life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, depression, unplanned pregnancy, and physical and sexual abuse including victims of sex trafficking. The demands for service quickly outgrew the 20-bed Monroe facility and the ministry expanded to Nashville, Tennessee in The Nashville facility initially served 20 girls and also housed the administrative offices for the ministry. An additional 20 beds were added in the Nashville building in 2000 when a separate administrative building was constructed on the same property. In October of 2005, Mercy opened a third home with room for 30 young women in St. Louis, Missouri. Our fourth domestic home opened in 2009 in Sacramento, California, and houses an additional 40 beds. This expansion now allows Mercy Multiplied to serve 130 women nationally at a time. Mercy Multiplied is now beginning to lay the groundwork for expansion in other areas of the US. Mercy Multiplied is a licensed child-placement agency in the state of Tennessee and staff members assist with the adoption process including grief counseling for residents who chose to place their child for adoption. Mercy Multiplied is also committed to sharing our valuable experience. We do that through our Guidelines program which includes the sale of a manual that outlines the steps necessary for opening a residential counseling program and a training seminar that further expounds the manual. Needs Statement 1.Continued operating support for our residential program which is an annual budget of $9.5 million. 2. Establishing a Working Capital Fund with goal of $500,000 as well as growing planned giving opportunities for donors. 3.Fully complete the implementation of a robust residential database. 4.Awareness and funds raised to lay the groundwork for a Florida Mercy Multiplied home. 5.National exposure increased and more donors secured. 2

3 CEO/Executive Director Statement 2015 has been a banner year for Mercy as we changed our name to better reflect our program and its effects across the globe. Mercy Ministries is now Mercy Multiplied. This change included an overhaul of our entire brand and a redesigned website containing essential resources easily accessible to the public. We have developed incredible resources to equip leaders and those in helping professions as well as those mentoring others resources that teach the principles of freedom we have developed over 33 years in our residential program. These resources include a discipleship study guide and leader guide with corresponding videos (Ditch the Baggage Series), and trainings to teach these principles as well as detail the issues that are prevalent in struggling youth today and ways to help (MPower Workshops). We have started offering Freedom Experience Events for people to interact and experience firsthand the keys to lasting freedom. These offerings should be self-funding once we are through the development phase and move into consistent implementation. At the same time, our core mission remains the same to serve struggling young women by providing Christian residential programs free of charge. We currently have over 1,000 young women in the application process and four homes actively running across the country with another home planned for the north Florida area. With all these new avenues of serving broken people and helping them learn the tools to lasting freedom along with continuing to provide our core residential programs, Mercy Multiplied is moving forward in faith to secure more solid funding for growth and for the future operational needs of the organization. As Executive Director, I am compelled to provide excellent training and mentoring of staff so that as we grow, our staff can grow with us as well as to encourage and elicit further multiplication of our efforts across the board all the while maintaining our high standards of excellence and integrity. Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn, continues to serve on the ECFA board of reference. Mercy Multiplied has the highest rating of four-stars on Charity Navigator (7 years in a row) and continues to be a member in good standing of the ECFA. All of these indicate external evidence of our commitment to excellent governance, financial integrity and high standards of excellence in our programs. 4 Programs Programs Mercy Multiplied America Description Since 1983, Mercy Multiplied of America has provided help and healing to generations of young women who are seeking freedom from lifecontrolling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, depression, unplanned pregnancy, and physical and sexual abuse, including victims of sex trafficking. Our free-of-charge Christian program lasts an average of 6 months and serves a diverse population of young women across the U.S., aged Many of the girls, who come to Mercy for help, are facing a combination of debilitating circumstances and have been in various treatment facilities with unsuccessful long-term results. We are committed to providing the young women we serve with excellent program services that allow them to recognize their self-worth and prepare them to reach their full potential. Our approach to healing allows young women to permanently stop destructive cycles and prepares them to take hope out into their communities. Budget $8,169, Category Population Served Program Successes Program Success Monitored By Human Services, General/Other Services for Specific Populations US Two separate independent surveys of Mercy Ministries' former residents were completed and published in 2008 and 2013, hundreds of former residents responded to the survey. When asked the question, "Did Mercy Ministries help you transform your life and restore your hope?" an average of 93.5% of the respondents answered "yes." The results of both surveys show a consistently positive impact of Mercy's program in the lives of program participants. Over the last thirty years, Mercy has served over 3,000 young women in the residential program, millions of young women through our outreach efforts and over 500 babies were given a chance at life. The independent surveys were completed by Your2Cents.com (2008) and Usamp (2013). We are also continually assessing the success of the program through internal measurements regularly reported to executive staff and the board of directors. These internal measurements are assessed and program improvements are suggested and implemented based on the findings. 4
