(YA!) is a group of concerned and caring youth and adults from many parts of American society whose purpose is help to bring about a 10 percent reduction in youth violence and bullying up to 24 years of age. (YA!) Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program Now in Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois and Maryland. Available Nationwide Where Youth and Adults Meet Halfway in the Classroom to Reduce Violence and Bullying "Protecting the whole youth, an nothing but the youth" (c) Teaching Violence & Bullying Prevention and Healthy Lifestyles to Children and Youth YouthAlert! (YA!) has served over 10,000 youth. 2015/2106 School-Year results: 95.7 percent of students/youth said that they were more aware about the dangers of violence after this presentation percent of students/youth said this presentation will help prevent them from doing an act of violence. 100 percent of Teachers/Hosts said this Presentation could make a difference in a youth s life in a positive way when it comes to violence. 100 percent of Teachers/Hosts said they would recommend this Presentation to other youth groups, schools, or youth organizations. All 103 of the Teacher/Hosts surveyed in the School-Years (two-years), recommend our in-school YouthAlert! (YA!) Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program to other youth groups, schools, or youth organizations. 3 Impact Impact Goals The first goal of our YouthAlert! (YA!) Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program is a Ten-Percent reduction in all violence, self-harm, bullying, substance abuse, school, school board, law, violations including behavior events, truancy, with youth who have gone through our program. Strategies YouthAlert! (YA!) has four educational programs. Capabilities.YouthAlert! (YA!) has now reached over 10,000 youth with all its four violence prevention initiatives. Indicators YouthAlert!(YA!) has now completed two back-to-back years reaching over 7,383 students total with our inschool, multi-day, violence and bullying prevention/health program. Our 2015/2016 School-Year Survey Summary Report of our in-school YouthAlert! (YA!) Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program for Kentucky is 24 pages and is dated May 27, It includes 4,012 Student/Youth surveys, and the 65 Teachers/Hosts surveys, for 24 public schools, and their 40 multi-day school presentations, 90 school-day presentations. 360 class presentations. Some results: 95.7 percent of students/youth said that they were more aware about the dangers of violence after this presentation percent of students/youth said this presentation will help prevent them from doing an act of violence. 100 percent of Teachers/Hosts said this Presentation could make a difference in a youths life in a positive way when it comes to violence. 100 percent of Teachers/Hosts said they would recommend this Presentation to other youth groups, schools, or youth organizations. Progress Pretests and Posttests:YouthAlert! (YA!)VBPHP has a 74 Percent gain score with 578 Middle,and High, School students with our completed five-question Pretest/Posttest assessment. This is well above the 30 percent change score bench mark for pretest and posttest progress. 86 Percent of the Posttest answers taken immediately after the presentation, understood the core components in the program, where less than 12 Percent of Pretest answers, were contained in the program. This indicates a highly successful method of instruction for our program, and also possibly, a high level of interest among students. The high gain score may also indicate the newness of the material presented to the students. 81 Percent,468 of the 578 students, were high school students and 19 Percent, 110 of the 578 students, were middle school students. 3

Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program (VBPHP) "Where Youth and Adults Meet Halfway to Reduce Violence & Bullying" Teaching Violence, Bullying Prevention and Healthy Lifestyles to Children and Youth. YouthAlert! (YA!) Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program is an in-school, out-of-school time, one to twoday, two to three hour, presentation, whose purpose is to reduce violence and bullying by a ten-percent and improve the overall health of children and youth of Elementary, Middle and High School age. This program is part of YouthAlert! (YA!) s National Health Curriculum. Budget 300, Population Served,, YouthAlert! (YA!) Youth Violence Prevention Event & Forum Description YouthAlert! (YA!) A free Youth Violence Prevention Event & Forum Presented by YouthAlert! (YA!) a Nonprofit Public Charity in Kentucky. Where Youth and Adults Meet HALFWAY to Reduce Violence YouthAlert! (YA!) A free Youth Violence Prevention Event & Forum is a SIX HOUR live, public, free, Youth Violence Prevention Event & Forum. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It includes live Youth Violence Prevention Programs, Guest Speakers, Videos, Youth Health Advocates, Audience Participation and Discussion, both Adult and Youth panels discussing ways both Youths and Adults can meet Halfway, equally, to reduce all violence. 5 YouthAlert! (YA!) Model Youth Description YouthAlert! (YA) Model Youth (YAMY) YouthAlert! (YA!) Model Youth are youth volunteers ages 10 to 24, who learn peacemaking and leadership skills at a very high level and standard. One of the purposes of YouthAlert (YA!) events and programs is to recruit YouthAlert (YA!) Model Youth and train them into being YouthAlert! (YA!) Model Youths leaders. Youths who will raise the bar of community and service in their neighborhood, be an active part of YouthAlert! (YA!) Programs and can duplicate the YouthAlert! (YA!) Model Youth elsewhere. YouthAlert! (YA!) Model Youths are teamed with adult mentors. YouthAlert! (YA!) Model Youths are youths who understand peace, shared responsibility, live healthily lifestyles, volunteerism, diplomacy, directing others in a group, self-exanimation, personal growth, life planning, organization, teamwork, and collaboration. Wain is the author of the book The War Against Violence Everywhere (ISBN ) published October 3, Douglas A. Wain previous experience is that of founder and President of Douglas Safety Corporation in Lexington, Kentucky, est A company that sells safety apparel and safety equipment to protect American workers and helps U.S. companies comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards. He has worked in the industrial safety field for 35 years and has traveled extensively in East and South Asia. He also is mentor for children in the Lexington-Fayette County Public School System in Kentucky and has served on a School-Based Decision Making Council. He also has completed Virtus Training and volunteers for Parochial Schools in Lexington, KY. He has also been a Big Brother mentor in Lexington, KY. He attended Boston University, Massachusetts, Farleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey and the University of Phoenix (AAGS). Douglas A. Wain is also a musician and the Founder and President of the "Garden State Institute of Performing Arts Inc." a 501 (c) (3) Organization which successfully presented New Jersey's first two music award shows and broadcasts called "The Garden State Music Awards".
