2 Mission & Impact Statements Mission Our mission is to provide comprehensive and innovative programs that serve at-risk youth, young adults, and their families. Our programs offer challenges to the youth and young adults to create new vision and provide the tools to navigate a course for a rewarding future characterized by achievement, independent thought and social responsibility. The tools needed to overcome current and future challenges are developed through education, hands-on entoring, and tutoring. We teach the positive impact of what giving back to the community can do to help others facing the similar life challenges, thereby making a difference in others' lives. We will utilize our therapy dogs and rescued horses to achieve our program goals by providing 'a second chance' as well as a caring and safe environment for neglected and unwanted horses. In our horse rescue program we rescue unwanted and abused horses allover middle Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky. Not only do we rescue horses but we take the time to rehabilitate them into useful, trusting and productive nimals. Most abused, neglected and unwanted horses, like people,have personality and behavior problems which make it difficult to place them in good homes. Combining the rehabilitation,care and training of these horses with our youth and family programs gives the humans and the horses a chance to recover and move forward into a bonding,caring, purposeful and meaningful life. Our main mission is in honor of our veterans,who have put their lives on the line to protect us, the United States of America, and their families, we are extending our facilities,staff and horses to all 'wounded warriors' including the veterans and families who are wounded by the invisible effects of war. We provide a variety of programs to facilitate reestablishing their lives and family bonds. These families can suffer emotional trauma due to a family member that may have been wounded, killed or under gone numerous long term separations.these families often have a difficult time understanding or dealing with their feelings of anger, sadness, grief, confusion, anxiety and family ties.our outdoor,therapy dog and equine programs provide a positive means for rebuilding and reinforcing familyrelationships. As a non-profit organization,we rely mainly on public and private support to fund our rehabilitation programs for both humans and equines.family support housing,meals,care facilities,education materials, as well as feed,hay, shelter and vet care for the equine residents are the largest expenses to our program. Your financial support will provide a positive impact to our programs by giving the youth, military and their families a positive environment to learn purpose and gain hope for the future by rescuing and rehabilitating these wonderful people and animals. 4 KY - Todd KY - Trigg We are located in Hohenwald TN, about an hour and a half south of Nashville. We have had people travel as far as Alabama and as North as Kentucky from the Fort Campbell Area. 4

5 Programs Programs Volunteer Housing Description Installation of a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with a common room, This will not only make us able to house more volunteers during the coming busy season but also give them a much need space that they can call their own on our humble ranch. With the added support we can use our Staff more efficiently at providing outstanding Equine Therapy to At Rick Youths, Military Families and Abused women. As well as providing a place in which we can house and feed people whom might be down on their luck and need a little help. While doing this we will be ultimately able to house more volunteers and utilize this freeing of Staff to be able to help more of the surrounding community. 9 Experience/Biography I am a certified Equine Assisted Healthcare instructor with SpiritHorse International; and an EAP/EAL Instructor with Greg Kersten s O,K. Corral Series. My forte is mules, where I have over 25 years experience of raising and training mules, horses and donkeys. I was a military dependant growing up. My dad was Lt. Col. William Lieb. He retired with 26 ½ years in the U.S. Army in Air Defense Artillery and Research and development of Air Defense for the Army. I am still a military dependant with my husband a retired CMSGT of the U. S. Air Force. I attended Pikes Peak Community college in Colo. Spgs., CO. Taking courses in the field of secretarial, management and criminal justice from I was a volunteer reserve police officer with the Manitou Springs, CO Police Dept
